PA/Administrative assistant 

Full time role (Monday-Friday, 9-5) based at our lovely rural office in Benenden. Relaxed working atmosphere with friendly team. We are looking for a loyal, honest, hardworking person with excellent English and computer skills to run our offices. Opportunity to progress within the company to Office Manager role for the right person. Salary dependent upon experience and qualifications. The right person must be intelligent, professional, conscientious and dedicated to us, and in return can expect a decent salary, pension and increasing holiday entitlement plus all bank holidays off.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assisting the Managing Director: arranging appointments, fielding calls and emails, etc.
  • Answering the phone/emails, sending out brochures, managing existing clients and ongoing projects

Installation team members 

We are currently looking for installers to join our team. You will be working from our workshops in Benenden, Kent and travelling across the UK to install our structures for our esteemed clients.

This role is not always full time, but regular, and would suit someone who is self-employed and able to work for us around work of their own, or someone looking for a part time role. The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Presentable and politely spoken
  • Clean, full UK driving licence
  • Hardworking attitude and organised way of working
  • Very experienced with using hand tools; a background in construction is a must
  • Lead dressing experience would be really useful but not essential as training can be given
  • Ability to work as part of a team, which can involve delegating tasks or taking instruction from other team members to get the job done
  • Common sense and ability to calmly problem solve if needed
  • Happy to travel to site across the UK and stay overnight, up to 4 nights per week
  • Ability to read architect’s/engineering drawings

Duties and responsibilities

  • Loading our company van, ensuring all items required to complete the project are present and correct, then driving to site
  • Greeting clients politely, following architectural/site drawings to correctly set out the position and framework of the structure
  • Work carefully and conscientiously to ensure the installation is completed to a very high standard, touching up bolt heads and cleaning the site area thoroughly
  • Discussing the installation with the clients to ensure they are very pleased with the end result
  • Returning to HQ, emptying the van of any rubbish and ensuring it is left clean for the next installation
